R E L A X I N G I N TO T H E F L O O R If the floor is used, I have the actors finish the relaxation work by laying on the floor and “relaxing into it,” meaning that the actors align their bodies while laying on their backs. I tell them to make sure that the base of the skull, the base of the spine, the back of the knees, and the back of the hands, fingers, and wrists (palms up) are touching the floor.
